How am I notified when my requested audiobook is completed?As soon as one of your requested audiobook is ready on Siftbooks, we’ll send you an email notification right away! To make sure you never miss an update, here’s a quick tip: move Siftbooks emails to your main inbox so they don’t get lost in your spam or promotion folder. For Gmail Users: ⭐ Move Siftbooks into your Primary tab On mobile: Tap the 3 dots in the top right of our email → select "Move to" → then "Primary" On desktop: Drag our email into the "Primary" tab (usually the first one on the left) For Apple Mail Users: ⭐ Make us a VIP Tap on our email address (corporate@siftbooks.com) → select "Add to VIP" to make sure our emails stay front and center. We’ll always let you know the moment your book is ready—just a small step from you ensures you’ll never miss a title!

Can I listen to books not found in my Audible library?Siftbooks only allows listening to audiobooks that you have already added to you Audible account.

What does the Siftbooks subscription offer?There are two main parts to your Siftbooks subscription: 1) You're able to submit one audiobook request per month for any book that you'd like Siftbooks to clean for you (most book requests will be completed within 48 hours or less, but it can take a bit longer depending on the amount of requests that we have received). 2) Unlimited access to listen to any audiobook that you have purchased on Audible and that is also available in the Siftbooks library.

With a mix of tech wizardry and Artificial Intelligence, we're on a mission to find those unexpected surprises in every audiobook. Do I need a subscription to access the Audiobook Library?Yes, a subscription is required to access and listen to any audiobook using Siftbooks.

How long does it take for a requested audiobook to become available?The time it takes for a requested book to become available varies depending on several factors, such as the audiobook's length, amount of filters needed, and the volume of requests we receive. However, we do our best to complete all audiobook requests within only a couple of days.

How accurate is the book filtering process?Our filtering system uses automated processes to identify and remove explicit content from audiobooks. While we strive for the highest accuracy possible, it's important to note that the filtering is not perfect. On average, our system successfully captures and removes around 95% of swear words and 70-90% of sexual content (depending on how objectively explicit the content is). However, there may be instances where some content slips through the cracks. We are continuously working on improving the accuracy of our filtering algorithms. If you come across any content that you believe is missing a filter, please help us make the audiobook cleaner for the next listener by using the "Report Explicit Content" button within the Siftbooks app.

What do I do if I experience a glitch with the mobile app?If you are having a problem with the app, simply close the app and reopen it. Doing this will help refresh the app and should resolve most issues. If the problem persists and you have already tried closing and reopening the app 2-3 times then please reach out to us at support@siftbooks.com Examples of problems that can be fixed by closing and reopening the app are: 1. There is a new audiobook available on the Discover page that I own in my Audible library but the app still won't let me listen to it. 2. The app is acting slower than normal or is taking too long to load. 3. Any other miscellaneous glitch that is preventing the app from working properly.

How does Siftbooks work?The Siftbooks app connects to Audible and then our technology acts like an automated tv remote control where we know the exact times to instantly mute and fast forward over any undesirable words or scenes without you ever having to hear it! Siftbooks complies with all Copyright laws by never altering an author's creative works. We simply give listeners the freedom to choose what content they would or would not like to consume.

What does the mobile app do?From the "Library" page in the Siftbooks app, you can access and listen to your Audible library if that same audiobook has already been reviewed by Siftbooks. From the "Discover" page, you can see all the books that Siftbooks has cleaned and that are available for listening. *Adding an audiobook from the "Discover" page will either use your available Audible credits or it will bill your default payment method on Audible.

What type of content filters are currently available?We do our best to remove all Sexual Content, Profanity, and instances of Taking The Lord's Name in Vain. However, we're not perfect and sometimes a word or phrase is missed. If this happens then please report it by clicking the "Report Explicit Content" button within the Siftbooks app so you can help make each audiobook cleaner for the next listener.

What if I want to listen to an audiobook that is not available on Siftbooks yet?You can submit an audiobook request on the the "Library" page of the app by selecting one of the grayed out audiobooks. Please be aware of the following: 1. You can only request 1 audiobook per month. 2. We can't guarantee how long it will take us to complete your requested book. There are several factors that determine our turnaround time such as the length of the audiobook, the level of explicit content, and how many other book requests are in Siftbooks' queue. However, we do our best to complete most books within a couple of days. 3. Siftbooks reserves the right to reject any audiobook request that is overly pornographic or controversial in nature. 4. It is important to note that it is possible for Siftbooks to sometimes miss some content that should have been filtered. With your help, any missed filters can be corrected by clicking the "Report Explicit Content" button within the Siftbooks app so you can help make each audiobook cleaner for the next listener.

Does Siftbooks support any other platforms besides Audible?Currently, Siftbooks is designed to work exclusively with Audible's library but we hope to expand to other platforms in the near future.

How do I access the mobile app?Visit mobile.siftbooks.com on your mobile device and follow the install instructions to add the Siftbooks app to your phone's home screen (you can still access the Siftbooks library from your internet browser but installing the app is highly recommended). *The Siftbooks app is not yet available in the Apple app store or the Google play store.
